Loo$e Change : The Road To The East

Conceived out of the desire to return to their roots, the Loose Change film documents riders Sparrow Knox and Niels Schack's adventure through Asia. On their three month adventure, Sparrow, an Englishman with Indian roots and Niels, a Frenchman who learnt how to ride in the mountains of northern Iran, start out in the unstable region of the Middle East and head East across Asia. Joined by their friends Victor Daviet and Louis-Felix Paradis, they travel through Turkey, India, Kazakhstan and Japan in search of new friends and discovering new spots. The film is half documentary, delving into the rich cultures they explored and half snowboard movie with spots outside of mosques in Turkey, gaps over barbed wires at shrines in the Himalayas and sketchy downtown handrails in Kazakhstan.

Directed by Niels Schack / Filmed by Alex Weir / Animation by Tom Guilmard
