This year's Random Bastards movie Blue Balls has been building up a lot of anticipation across the shredosphere's groinal area. The boys finally got to release some of that testicular tension and had a premiere on their home turf in Umeå, Sweden. They all headed out proudly sporting their Haze gear, looking for a good time. We sat down with Hans Alhund aka Big Poppa Haze to found what's new with Haze Clothing. Then we yapped with Eric Hörstedt, producer of Random Bastards, and riders Eric Johannsen and Klas Beyer to see how they're coping with their Blue Balls! Interview by K-lo
You run a clothing company called Haze Clothing.
Hans: Yea man, that's corect, steeziest clothing on the planet.
Who’s involved in it and for how long has it existed now?Hans
Viktor Wiberg flossing in the 3/4 tee, with Eric Hörstedt and Larry Hover in the mix at the Umea premier.
: I started it 2006, I think, and various homies are involved, as well as this new kid on the block, Anton. Big ups to Per Jonsson for the design of the logos, we both rode for Forum back in the day when it was still cool and alive. What is new for the line this year?Hans
: It's mostly always been street wear, but now we have gloves and windbreakers as well. And of course we have a collab with the Random Bastards which we are very proud of!Where can I smell out some shops or sites that sells this chronic clothing?Hans
: We got fucked over and burned by the middleman for the last collection. So we are still recovering and it was a bit stressy to get this new collection out. So the easiest way is to check it out at Junkyard.com
or just go directly to haze-clothing.com
for the whole line. Support the little brands that are the true heart and soul of snowboarding!

The name Haze Clothing makes me want to roll up a shirt and smoke it! Is that a good idea? Hans
: Yes, I like the way you're thinking here, we are not really into folding shirts either, rolling is a lot easier. I guess it’s more than a coincidence that you have a collabo line with the Random Bastards?Hans
: Yes, it go hand in hand, you better watch out for RB cause we are on a mission to take over the universe.
The Random Bastards' movie Blue Balls is premiering around the universe now. Did you finally get some relief for your balls or are they still bulging? Eric H
Skål! Hans getting loose in the Haze x RB collab joint.
: Well, nobody in the crew ever got laid at the opening premiere the last few years... we tend to focus on the wrong (the right?) stuff.Klas
: Me and Jocke stayed sober for a month before the premiere just so we would be extra stoked on it, our balls are still blue though.Eric J
: Rolf Nylinder gave a really good speech before our premiere in Umeå for the entire audience about why we had titled the film Blue Balls, I think the girls bought his spiel, at least my girlfriend did!

I’m really looking forward to seeing Blue Balls. How old should I be to watch it? Eric H
: Don't be too old or easily offended, there's some nudity in it and shit. As usual.Klas
: 42.Eric J
Your behind-the-scenes teaser for Blue Balls portrays snowboarders being rejected by society on a daily basis. Any tips on how to handle that rejection? Do you cry at night? Did that dude ever get over thinking that he was being abducted by aliens?Eric H
: There's a Swedish expression that says "a good laugh lengthens your life"... Klas
: Just be the better man if society turns their back on you. Huh, yeah, that guy was pretty damn special.Eric J
: Just kiss those asses and it's all good and say that you are sorry for anything you have done and they usually cool down and you can go back doing what you where doing, hehe.
How did you end up getting Brandon Hobush and Dylan Alito in your new video? Do they suffer from Blue Balls too?Klas
Fuck Forsen and his Emblem hoodie!
: Papa Bear aka Hans Åhlund made it happen. Do they suffer from blue balls as well? Yes, blue balls with small white stars and red stripes, of course.Eric J
: I think Hans hit up Dylan via email and then suddenly Dylan, Brandon and their filmer Pat showed up in Umeå. They ended up staying in my basement, in what we call The Bunker because it's all concrete walls and some nasty old plastic carpet on the floor. I don't think they had any luck with the girls down there, I don't think any girl in her right mind would actually go into The Bunker, so they must have left Sweden with Blue Balls.
Do you think it’s harder to be a Euro or an American in professional snowboarding, or is this question completely useless? Klas
Larry Hover rockin' the Windbreaker indoors.
: Don't know.Eric J
: It's definitely a bigger scene in America than in Sweden, but luckily we've got the internet.
Are we going to see a new movie next year? Just say yes! Klas
: Yes!Eric J
: I hope so…Eric H
: We'll consult the Mayan calendar for that... let's see next b'ak'tun!
Get ready for a generic question. What are your future plans in snowboarding? Klas
You gotta keep up your hygiene when dressing this sharp. Eric Hörstedt polishing up in a Random Bastards/Haze Hoodie
: More creative spots.Eric J
: Get my own full part and keep having a great time with my homeboys!Any last words? Klas
: Don't stay sober for a month! It's annoying for all the other guys (at least Viktor Wiberg thought so).Eric J
: Hugs & KissesEric H
