Seb Toots wins freestyle.berlin!

Sixteen year old Canadian wunderkind Sebastien Toutant won the freestyle.berlin with a perfect backside 1080 double cork, beating out all comers in a pretty heavy line-up. Eero Ettala claimed second with a flawless back 10, followed by current TTR World Champ Peetu Piiroinen with his own back 10, although with a slight hand drag and Iouri "i-Pod" Podlatchikov rounding out the top 4 with a sick double rodeo 10 with a double grab. Basically if you aren't stomping 10's and 12's or a double cork, you are not a contender these days. Crazy how much snowboarding is progressing right now, even if we'd like to see some more emphasis on style as opposed to twirling like a top till you hit the ground. Big ups to Seb Toots, he definitely deserved the win! Don't forget to throw your hands in the air for Elias Elhardt who won the Crossover title, defending the glory of snowboarding against those other weird sports on Saturday. Make sure to check out Elias' interview in issue 10.2 of Method Mag, dropping in early November!
