The cherry on top of a great season like this one is always the Longboard Classic. It was finally time for 13th edition of the legendary LBC at Stuben, Austria. Luck was on our side with amazing weather the day of the event, the day before and after were terrible (that's how good the organizers are at this event, they have the weather gods on speedial). A coat of fresh pow was even laid on the slopes the night before. A great crowd of snowboarders, longboarders, soul-shredders and neon wierdos showed up to share the hot pow and good vibes! Old school darts and death trap binders were brought out. Delicious beers were put on ice People started to gather into giant pile of radicalness Some of the guys warmed up the old knees with some sweet old school airs Sweet old school airs #2. The ants go marching in to the top of the starting line, it was full-on winter conditions this year The neon avalanche was ready to begin! This dude was ready to shreddy This dude had hairy mitts. What are those made of? A Great Pyrenees dog? Marco Michel was ready with surfboard with bindings mounted on it, a wetsuit, diving mask and ciggie. Classic. Mephisto was ready with his usual amazing outfit. Check out the shades on Schnüff! This dude just wanted to cruise on his Cruzer! Everyone then started to wave their big sticks around and let out their battle cries The longboards were off with their 176+ beasts! Some dudes were rocking the retro gear but riding modern-day longboards Who says hardbooters don't know how to party? The ancient set ups creak and crack... Slashing a toeside on Albona You'll never lose someone wearing Elho gear Turbo skids in late April pow!
