Sorry for being a little late with the results, but the afterparty raged well into the wee hours of the morning... naturally! So, despite the horrific accident suffered by Adam Granqvist during the first heat, the riders stayed motivated and put on a real show for the huge crowd gathered in Sergels Storg for the Frontline Rail Jam 2010. Jed Anderson, Hans Ahlund, Wojtek Pawlusiak, Marc Swoboda, Gerben Verweij, Gulli Gudmundsson and Mike Casanova were straight crushing the two rail set up, but in the end it was the preternaturally talented Eirikur aka Eiki, the eldest of the Helgasons, took top honors by consistently stomping the cleanest and most tech tricks and his younger brother Halldor won best trick with a nasty hardway back 3 to 50-50 on the down rail. Stay tuned for a full report with tons of pix and clips in the next couple of days, once we recover from this vicious hangover. Our hearts and thoughts go out to Adam Granqvist and his family, we hope that his is a fast and speedy recovery. Big ups to Kareem el Rafie for pulling off another epic event, thanks homie, you are a fucking BOSS!
