The all new Goliath is best suited to intermediate to advanced riders and features Freestyle 3BT shape including Sidekicks technology. Dividing the base at the front and back into 3 equal sections. The two sided base section angles upwards with a medium height in order to create Bataleon's trademark camber profile. A board that will float through powder and turns with increased stability.
This board varies slightly from previous Goliath models in that the carbon inserts are DST carbon. The two hollow carbon rods maximize pop and putting more snap into the camber. Tri-axial laminates are laid above & below the wood core, fine-tuning the responsive all mountain characteristics of the board.
With Side Kick Tips, this tech from Bataleon will enhance the performance of the 3BT base increasing side base uplift on the widest parts of the nose and tail. This creates incredibly smooth turn initiations, enhances overall board stability in rough terrain and in powder. The super slick X Base has one of the highest molecular weights of any extruded base on the market. Much tougher and faster while remaining virtually maintenance free.
Internally the upgraded Goliath uses some of the most advanced materials available. The all new super light wood core combines lightweight paulownia and durable poplar in order to deliver a responsive, feather-light and playful ride. The DST carbon tubes also built into the core improve the boards overall strength & performs at speed with heightened power transfer for snappier ollies and all round board control.
