Burton European Open 2013

Location

The 14th Burton European Open will take place in Laax, Switzerland, from February 4th to 9th, 2013. More than 300 riders from all over the world are expected to attend the most prestigious freestyle event in Europe to show their snowboard skills. The event offers slopestyle and halfpipe competitions for men, women and juniors (up to 14 years’ old) along with evening events, live music acts and public on-snow gear tests.

The event starts out with qualification rounds on Monday and Tuesday, followed by thesemi-finals and finals where many of the world’s best riders will battle for the titles and US$ 125.000 prize money. Slopestyle finals will take place on Thursday, February 7th, Halfpipe finals are scheduled for Friday, February 8th. The week ends with the Juniors’ slopestyle and halfpipe on Saturday, February 9th.
