Rip Curl Stars of the Stadium

Rip Curl is proud to present Stars of the Stadium, the first 4 star TTR snowboard BigAir event in Finland!

The event will be set in Lahti Stadium, home of the famous three ski jumping hills, including amazing 4 star TTR BigAir competition, laidback Rail Jam and gigs from Finland's top rappers as Redrama, Timo Pieni Huijaus, Dj Mista S and Dj Rascal.

Rip Curl riders, Janne Lipsanen (FIN), Risto Mattila  (FIN), Anton Bilare (SWE), Lasse Ihalainen (FIN), Jacob Edman (FIN), are super stoked to compete and they are more than ready for a heavy fired up in the middle of the Lahti Stadium crowd!

The Finnish Snowboard Association has chosen Henri Laakkonen, Aleksi Kumpulainen, Tommi Rokolampi ja Teemu Lambert to enter the competition giving them a wild card. Head coach Pekka Koskela said “Those talented riders have shown some promising signs last season on competitions and training camps, they are more than welcome to the Stars of the Stadium contest”

YLE TV 2 –channel on prime time at 19.10-20.50.

With the Stars of the Stadium ticket you’ll have a free entry to the Red Bull Rail Jam.

The Rail Jam will introduce 12 men and 12 women in a top class rail setup: 5 women and 5 men will be chosen to enter the finals which will award a Rail Jam Queen and a Rail Jam King.Polaris-Snow World and other services on the event area: kids will be warmly welcomed to the Polaris Snow World where they will be able to drive with 50cc mini-ATV and snow mobiles.   On the Sinne World stand you will try the coolest new snow board equipment, register on local Lahti Ski Club’s or Snow Board Club and get more information about the Finnish Snowboard Association activities. Forever gym club stand will set a nice competition with gift card awards. Restaurant Voitto will serve at ”The Lounge” to corporate guests as well as other visitors of the event.
