Winter is coming soon and then it's time to shout out "ROCK THE PARK!" for all European Slopestyle-Rookies! In the sixth season the ChillandDestroy Tour will go new ways! This year there will be separate event series for snowboarders (10 tourstops) as well as for freeskiers (6 tourstops). Both competition series will be executed under the roof of the "ChillandDestroy Slopestyle Tour". At a total sixteen tourstops in Germany, Austria, France and in Switzerland the ambitious slopestylers - either on skis or snowboards can qualify for the great finale in their chosen sport. All slopestylers start in six different competition categories which are broken down into gender, age and discipline. At the tourstops the first placed of each category will automatically qualify for the finals. The snowboard qualification tourstops are performed within the scope of the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour 08/09, as 1Star or 2Star events. New in this season and an absolute highlight: Three of the tourstops,
including the finale, are TTR World Tour 3Star events. This means for the young athletes the potential to collect ranking points! The ChillandDestroy Tour finale is simultaneously the International German Slopestyle Championship. Here the qualified participants will compete for the total prize money up to 10.000 US $.
Yet, not only the sportive competition generates the peak level of the ChillandDestroy Tour. Good mood and a relaxed atmosphere also characterize the event. Guarantors for this purpose are the Riders Chill Lounge, Special-Starter-Packages and the After-Contest-Parties. In the end it's all about giving young snowboarders and freeskiers a platform, on which they can be measured against other riders, under professional contest terms.
